INTRODUCTION
A training in the performing arts is a training for life. The workshops are open to children of all abilities between the ages of 5-20. Students will learn singing, dancing and drama skills as well as an array of backstage secrets from Fusion's team of top professionals from the UK and Malaysia. The workshops can help students boost their verbal skills and confidence, be team players and will make them more articulate, self-reliant and healthy. But best of all, they are simply great fun!
Fusion Malaysia will be running numerous workshops through out 2011 flying in facilitators from the UK and also using Malaysian talent. This will be building on the success of our workshops at KLPAC in December 09 led by Alexandra Jay and Natalie Francis, at the Temple of Fine arts in March 2010 led by Dylan Turner and Marissa Dunlop, at Garden International school in July 2010 led by Grace Warner and Claudine Gabriel. and at Temple of Fine Arts in December 2010 headed by Dylan Turner and Zoe Harrison. Fusion Malaysia will be bringing out the very best performers to be running courses in different aspects of theatre, culminating in a performance,street dance,musical theatre,pop,mime to name but a few.
Founded by Ben Douglas, Fusion draws on unrivalled contacts in the performing arts world to provide a standard of training that is unique. Among the famous patrons of Fusion in the UK are Hollywood stars Ewan Macgregor and Thandie Newton, stage legend Lady Olivier and the classical musician Julian Lloyd Webber.
